HOW WE DO IT

Next Frontier Capital aims to invest in five to six companies per year. While highly selective, once we are committed, we roll up our sleeves and work hard to provide the team capital, support, and counsel.

The Fund’s diligence process is thorough and focused on the company’s mission, market, management team, product-market fit, technology, and business model. We aim to provide timely, honest feedback to the companies we evaluate. The Fund prefers to syndicate its investments and plans to take a board seat on deals where it is the lead investor.

WHAT WE INVEST IN

The Fund primarily invests in industries with high intellectual property values, such as enterprise software, data science, mobile applications, and optics and photonics companies. We’ve learned that purity of motivation is an accurate predictor of success and therefore aim to partner with mission-driven, talented entrepreneurs looking to build companies of scale and value.

While the Fund is stage agnostic, our preference is to lead $2-4m financings in companies with product in market and a history of capital efficient growth.
